In response to Acts 10:7-33 When the angel who spoke to him had gone, Cornelius called two of his servants and a devout soldier who was one of his attendants. He told them everything that had happened and sent them to Joppa. About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles and birds. Then a voice told him,“Get up, Peter. Kill and eat.” “Surely not, Lord!” Peter replied. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.” The voice spoke to him a second time, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.” This happened three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven. While Peter was wondering about the meaning of the vision, the men sent by Cornelius found out where Simon’s house was and stopped at the gate. They called out, asking if Simon who was known as Peter was staying there. While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Simon, three men are looking for you. So get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them.” Peter went down and said to the men, “I’m the one you’re looking for. Why have you come?” The men replied, “We have come from Cornelius the centurion. He is a righteous and God-fearing man, who is respected by all the Jewish people. A holy angel told him to ask you to come to his house so that he could hear what you have to say.” Then Peter invited the men into the house to be his guests. –Acts 10:7-23

In response to Psalm 93 The water's rising. We don't have a choice. The seas have lifted. Lifted up their voice. And it doesn't matter if you believe That the punishment doesn't fit the crime. Cause the sad sorry truth, that no one would choose Is that our children will be doing the time. Our children will be doing the time. The waves are breaking. Breaking on our shores. The floods are rising. Rising to our doors. CHORUS Is there mercy enough for us? I stand at the scene of the crime. Is there mercy enough for us? My children will be doing the time. My children will be doing the time. My children will be doing the time. The water's rising. We don't have a choice. The seas have lifted. Lifted up their voice. Psalm 93 The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength; indeed, the world is established, firm and secure. Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity. The seas have lifted up, Lord, the seas have lifted up their voice; the seas have lifted up their pounding waves. Mightier than the thunder of the great waters, mightier than the breakers of the sea— the Lord on high is mighty. Your statutes, Lord, stand firm; holiness adorns your house for endless days.

He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” -Revelation 21:5

The sun rises and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises. The wind blows to the south and turns to the north; round and round it goes, ever returning on its course. All streams flow into the sea, yet the sea is never full. To the place the streams come from, there they return again. –Ecclesiastes 1:5-7

in response to Psalm 107:17-22: Some became fools through their rebellious ways and suffered affliction because of their iniquities. They loathed all food and drew near the gates of death. Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind. Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy.

Buy Me a Hat Galatians 2:20, 5:24 Buy me a hat, show me some rainbows, Bring me some liquor, buy me some wine. You are a fine catch, baby, divine, it’s gonna be yours and mine. Buy me a hat, show me some rainbows, Bring me some liquor, buy me some wine. Come on, come on it stopped raining, now I’m not complaining What’s on your mind? Why, why do you cry? I’m only water, it’s only water, baby. I’m riding the line. Maybe it’s over, maybe it’s, maybe it’s I’m so real, realness comin‘ outta my belly like a honeybadger I’m so sweet, sweet like a flow‘r that’s dyin‘ every hour now Oh oh oh. It’s looks like snow so… Buy me a hat, show me some rainbows, Bring me some liquor, buy me some wine. Come on, come on it stopped raining, now I’m not complaining What’s on your mind? Ah, what are you feeling? I’m on the ceiling, baby. I’m riding the line, maybe it’s over, maybe it’s, maybe it’s I’m so fake, fake like a fire that’s burning in a liar, well I’m so cheap, cheap like a catholic, a universal catholic. Oh oh oh. It’s time to grow but… We’re stuck here in the mud Burning without the sun And Jesus has got the gun. I want to see your eyes. I want to see you die. Maybe no. Maybe it’ll be a nice winter, oh, oh. It looks like snow so, Buy me a hat, show me some rainbows, Bring me some liquor, buy me some wine. Come on, come on it stopped raining, now I’m not complaining What’s on your mind? Why, why do you cry? I’m only water, it’s only water, baby. I’m riding the line. Maybe it’s over, maybe it’s, maybe it’s Over.

In response to Acts 4:31-37: After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need. Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means “son of encouragement”), sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles’ feet.

“Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.” Ephesians 4:25 When We Lie Aaron Kruziki Now you are no longer strangers to us Or no longer foreigners to heaven You are all members of our own family Citizens of our country You belong in our household With every other soul For we are all human Making choices some say are mistakes… We learn these lies to be self-‐evident And teach our selves that our truth is now fake Stop lying to each other Tell the truth For we are apart of one another And when we lie to each other We hurt our own Momentary truth replaced by lies I’m wondering through this life And keep on striving Wake up every morning with sun in my eyes And soon enough clouds roll by I keep on trying Over and over I ask myself When it started in my life All this lying Stop lying to each other Tell the truth For we are apart of one another And when we lie to each other We hurt our own

In response to 1 John 1:5, 2:4, and 2:9-11 Lyrics: Jackie came home He doesn’t look us in the eyes He said he needs a pillow, and only for a while. Says luck is hard to find these days Especially when you got a bad name He’s covering his face And hiding his darkness in the barn. How can I say That I know the Father When I hate my brother For things he doesn’t do Gloria counting down the years The world has gone and left her While she’s cleaning up the dinner Wonders what her life could be Inherited the homestead She hates it but she won’t change a thing so there’re smiles on the faces of all of her siblings and her nieces and nephews will run where she ran They’ll all blow in like Christmas and then leave the house empty Again How can I say That I know the Father When I hate my sister For what she doesn’t have Our Father is light No shadows at all
